The Dougbe River Presbyterian School of Liberia is home to 10 dedicated, gifted teachers and administrators who undertake the sacrifices of living in such a remote location to provide a quality education to the children of the region. They come from across the country to live in the jungle, where they have limited access to electricity, no running water, and no cellphone coverage simply because they are committed to making a difference in the lives of these children.
All of them have certifications for the subjects and grades they teach, and employees in administrative positions all have 4-year degrees, a notable achievement for a Liberian school.
In addition, a staff of four agricultural experts and three cooks ensures that the children are fed every day.
