2022 Gala is Sunday, September 25th at St. Noel’s
We’ve moved up the date for the annual Dougbe River School Gala. We’ll have lots of fun activities and we’ll share the latest news from the school. Plus, you can get a jump on your holiday shopping with our silent auction. We’ve reworked our menu to include healthier options served to you and your friends at your table. Please plan to join us. Invitations will arrive in just a few weeks, but we hope you’ll “SAVE THE DATE” today.
Dorm Construction is Underway!
The community and our construction contractor have joined forces to build our dorm – literally brick by brick. When transportation is a challenge, gathering and making construction materials like sand, gravel and bricks on-site is the best option. As of mid-June these hard-working folks have hand-made over 3,300 bricks, using over 132 bags of cement and local sand. Next step – digging the foundation. In the meantime, it’s bricks as far as the eye can see!
